Website Privacy Policy
This policy covers this website — the marketing pages you're reading right now. It is separate from the Budget Tracker Android app's privacy policy, which covers your financial data inside the app, including its limited RevenueCat purchase handling. See the app's Privacy Policy for that. This document was written to describe our practices honestly and in plain language, but it isn't a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer — if you need a legally certain answer, especially about a specific jurisdiction, ask one.
1. The short version
This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and does not set cookies. Just browsing this site doesn't send us anything. The only personal information we collect is your email address, and only if you voluntarily submit it through the "Get notified" box — see Section 2 for exactly how that works.
2. "Get notified at launch" — how it works
Submitting your email through the "Get notified" box on this site sends it to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service operated by Web3Creative, which immediately forwards it to our support inbox (bramoralabsupport@gmail.com) as a plain email. Using that specific box — entering your email into a field labeled "Get notified at launch" and clicking submit — is you directly asking us for a one-time notification when Budget Tracker launches on Google Play. That's a request you're making, not something we're inferring from anything else you agreed to on this page. Whether that kind of directly-requested, one-time message needs a separate formal legal basis in your specific country is not something we've had reviewed by a lawyer — we're not asserting compliance with any particular framework here, and if that distinction matters to you, treat this paragraph as informational rather than a legal conclusion, and email us if you'd rather we didn't send it after all.
The required checkbox next to the submit button — "I agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms" — means exactly that and nothing more. It is not a marketing opt-in, and checking it does not sign you up for anything beyond acknowledging these documents; it exists because we think you should have actually agreed to this policy before handing over your email, not because it grants us permission to email you about anything else.
The only way to receive ongoing promotional or marketing email from us after launch is the second, separate checkbox — "Send me occasional updates and offers about Budget Tracker." It's unticked by default, and we only add you to that list if you actively tick it yourself; leaving it unticked still gets you the one-time launch notification described above, nothing more. We do not have an automated marketing system connected to any of this — for now, someone at Bramora Labs sends these emails by hand from the list of addresses submitted. We will not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone else for their own marketing.
What each signup notification records. When you submit the form, the email we receive records: the email address you entered; whether the required Privacy Policy/Terms checkbox was checked (it always is — the form won't submit otherwise); whether the optional promotional-email checkbox was checked, explicitly as "Yes" or "No" so a "No" is never just silently missing; which version of this Privacy Policy and the Terms were in effect at the time (currently both Version 1.0, dated above); and a timestamp of when your browser submitted it. That timestamp is reported by your own device's clock, not verified by a server, so treat it as approximate rather than authoritative — the arrival time on the email itself, visible in our inbox, is the more reliable record of when we actually received it. We do not collect your name, phone number, location, or any device/browser fingerprinting — only what's listed here. This record exists as a plain email in our inbox, not a database — we haven't built one for this, and if you'd like us to, that's a heavier step we'd only take if it were actually needed.
Web3Forms/Web3Creative acts as our data processor for this one step — receiving and relaying the submission on our instructions — under its own privacy policy and data processing agreement. Beyond forwarding it to us, Web3Forms also keeps a copy of submissions in its own systems for some period under its own retention policy — we're not going to state a specific number here, since that's set and controlled by them, not us, and we'd rather point you to their current policy than risk giving you a stale figure. Once an email reaches our inbox, we hold onto it the same way we would any other email we receive, for as long as it's useful to us or until you ask us to delete it.
To unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email, just reply to whatever we sent you, or email bramoralabsupport@gmail.com at any time — since sending is manual on our end, honoring that is as simple as removing you from the list before the next email goes out.
3. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts — nothing from Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar. The small script that runs the scroll-fade animation on this site only reads the page's own layout; it doesn't collect or transmit anything. The signup box uses your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to remember, on your device only, that you've already submitted it — purely so it doesn't ask you again on your next visit. That flag never leaves your browser, isn't sent to us or to Web3Forms, and clearing your browser data resets it.
4. Hosting
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc. / Microsoft). Like most web hosts, GitHub logs visitor IP addresses at the infrastructure level for security and legal-compliance purposes — this is standard server access logging, not something Bramora Labs requests, collects, or has access to. See GitHub Pages' own data collection notice for details.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you rights over personal data a company holds about you — for example, to know what's held, correct it, delete it, or object to its use. Right now, the only personal information we hold about you is whatever you've chosen to email us, exactly like any other email you send someone. Reaching out about any of this is as simple as emailing bramoralabsupport@gmail.com. We haven't determined which of these specific rights formally apply to a business our size and haven't had this reviewed by a lawyer — if that matters to you, ask us and we'll do our best to help regardless.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
7. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy whenever what the site actually does changes — for example, if we ever move to an automated email platform, add analytics, or anything else.
8. Legal applicability
This policy does not select a governing jurisdiction. The privacy rights and obligations that apply depend on mandatory law. This hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer, and if you're relying on this for a specific legal question, get independent advice.
