1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Budget Tracker (the "App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
2. What the App Is
Budget Tracker is a personal finance tracking tool: expense/income logging, budgets, multi-account tracking, a Zakat estimate calculator, and a remittance (money-sent-home) log. The App runs entirely on your device — there is no account, no server, and no cloud sync. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
3. Not Financial, Tax, Legal, or Religious Advice
This is important, please read it.
- Budget Tracker is a tracking and estimation tool. Nothing in the App — including budget summaries, currency conversions, exchange-rate calculations, or the Zakat calculator — is financial, investment, tax, legal, or religious advice.
- Zakat calculator: the result is an unverified estimate based on figures you enter (including a gold/silver price you provide) and a simplified nisab calculation. Zakat rulings vary between schools of thought and individual circumstances. Always confirm your zakat obligations with a qualified scholar before acting on this App's estimate.
- Currency and remittance figures: exchange rates used in the App are manually entered by you, not fetched live from any financial institution. They may not reflect real market rates, bank rates, or fees actually charged by a remittance provider.
- You are solely responsible for any financial, religious, or other decisions you make. Bramora Labs is not a licensed financial advisor, bank, money-transfer operator, or religious authority, and accepts no responsibility for decisions made using figures from this App.
4. Your Data
- All data you enter (transactions, accounts, categories, budgets) is stored locally on your device only, encrypted at rest.
- If you export a backup file, you choose a password when creating it, and the file is encrypted with that password. If you forget the password, that backup cannot be recovered — not by you, and not by us. There is no reset.
- Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage, will permanently delete your data unless you have a saved backup (and its password). Bramora Labs has no copy of your data and cannot recover it for you.

5. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any warranty that calculations, totals, or conversions are accurate, complete, or error-free, or that the App will be uninterrupted or bug-free.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bramora Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial loss, loss of data, or decisions made based on figures shown in the App. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App (which, for the free tier, is zero).
7. Budget Tracker Pro
Budget Tracker Pro is an optional set of extra features (such as PDF/CSV export), unlocked with a single one-time purchase through the Google Play Store — not a subscription, and you will not be charged again for it. The price is set and displayed by Google Play, in your local currency, before you buy. Purchases are processed by Google Play and validated using RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-processing service; Bramora Labs never receives or stores your payment details. Refunds are governed entirely by Google Play's refund policy, not by Bramora Labs. If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use the "Restore purchases" option to recover your Pro unlock without paying again.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or use the App for any unlawful purpose. Bramora Labs reserves the right to stop supporting or updating the App at any time.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Applicable Law
These Terms do not select a governing jurisdiction. Mandatory legal rights continue to apply.
